Aluminium Monolithic Silos

Metalworks is manufacturing monolithic silos in the vertical way made by Aisi 304 and Aluminium. This technology is possible thanks our tower in our facilities.
In this way the welding is done in a closed room granting the certified out the product and the best quality of the artefact. fot Each technicians employee on the silo’s manufacturing is certified by a specialist welding agency.
The diameters are from 0 to maximum diameter is 5.500mm for a total height of 24.000m. The maximum capacity is around 500m3.
Note: Bigger diameters are to be agreed if possible.Shipping and managing of the delivery is under our experience and engineering.

Prefabbricated Bolted Silos

Our silos are composed by ferrules, each one is formed by three different flanged sheets which are then bolted with each other.Each ferrule will bolted and joined to the next until the desired height.
Thanks to this method of mounting each silo can be easily disassembled and reassembled with a different height, a different arrangement of nozzles or holes for the passage of tubes.
The internal discharge cone can be 90 degrees or 60 degrees depending on the stored material. It too is formed from different flanged sheets, which helps during assembly and disassembly.

Daily Silos

Metalworks is manufacturing indoor daily silos in the vertical way made by Aisi 304 and Aluminium.
This technology is possible thanks our tower in our facilities. In this way the welding is done in a closed room granting the certified out the product and the best quality of the artefact. Each technicians employee on the silo’s manufacturing is certified by a specialist welding agency.
The capacity usually is designed following the daily capacity of the extrusion machines located on the customers’ facilities depending design of the automatic systems and other details. Usually are without supporting skirt but on three or four legs. Shipping and managing of the delivery is under our experience and engineering.

Trevira Fabric Silos

High Tenacity and anti-static Trevira type fabric bag (Polyethylene glycol terephthalate), suitable for indoor storage, consist of a large reinforced bag made of breathable dust-proof material and equipped with a filtering cover for venting and filtering air during the loading operations.

• Lower raw-material costs compared to stainless steel silos having the same capacity
• Raw material always in the best condition for use and storage, no condensation and as little wastage as possible
• Construction of tailored storage facilities to exploit the storage area in the best possible way, occupying even narrow and otherwise unusable spaces
• Carbon steel tubular structure

• Trevira silos are supplied complete with its own loading pipe and vibrating extractor made of AISI 304 stainless steel, ideal for pneumatic and/or mechanical extraction system
• Inspection window on the front side positioned at eye level to display the status of the product inside the silo
• Notch for Max. and Min. level indicator with acoustic alarm
• Junction box, one for each silo, which groups the various users related to the silo such as level indicators, quick couplings with micro, etc.
• Weighing systems with visual control and acoustic indicators of the quantity stored, etc.
