De-Palletizing

Is done layer-by-layer by electro-pneumatic cally operated harpoons grappling the entire layers the pallet consists of. Harpoon are not moving up-down. The pallet does!
In this way higher efficiency, easier and safer operations along with less demanding maintenance is granted.
Alternatively to our Layer by layer version, we supply a machine where pallets are hydraulically lifted and tilted. Bags, using two inline conveying belts are fed inside the machine and automatically slit.

Bags Emptying and Compacting

Metalworks machines grants the full Bags Emptying by intensive tumbling of slit bags moving into a rotating drum.
• The result is an accurate emptying of bags, direct dischargingof debagged product into the machine hopper, automatic gathering and feeding of empty bags into the empty bags compactor.
• Simple, effective and reliable as a heavy-duty, highly flexible machine needs to be.
• The bags compactor is made of painted carbon steel, suitable for reducing the volume of the empty bags for easier handling and bagging.
• At the outlet of the rotating drum the slit and empty bags are fed, by gravity, into the underlying auger type bags compactor that along with reducing the volume of the bags, has the task of easily gather them into a tubular made of plastic material that, once filled, will be manually knotted for subsequent disposal.

Full Pallets Magazine

It can automatically stack up to 6 empty pallets that once reached, can be entirely removed by forklift.
Motorized conveyors store and automatically feed full pallets to the depalletizer. Depending from logistic and available space 3 to 5 complete pallets can be stored and handled.

Bags Slitting

Metalworks Bags slitting & emptying machine is completely different than any other machine offered on the market. Bags each layer consists of, are dropped on rotating blades the machine hopper is equipped with. By doing so, slitting is not affected by the position and/or not consistent arrangement of the bags the layer consists of. As long as bags are getting into the machine hopper, bags will be correctly and efficiently slit.

Bags Emptying

A drum, driven by a heavy-duty chain fitted on rotating wheels and equipped with 50 x 50 mm meshes, ensures, by tumbling the full emptying of the slit bags and their feeding/discharging of empty bags into the bag’s compactor.

- Storage hopper for gathering the debagged material and feeding the downstream equipment the machine.
Cone safety net: The machine hopper is equipped with a vibrated cone fitted with a safety net having a clear opening of 10x10 mm accessible through an inspection hatch the cone is equipped with. The hatch is ensured by limit switch and relevant key.
- Vibration indicator level that indicate the maximum level of the product inside the product storage hopper in order to prevent overfeeding.
